1. The Government of the Republic of Korea notes with attention that the political parties of Libya are engaged in the UN-mediated political dialogue to discuss ways to establish peace in the country, and hopes for tangible progress in the talks.

2. With regard to the current situation in Libya, the Government of the Republic of Korea commends the continued efforts by UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative Bernardino León to mediate the political dialogue in the country and extends appreciation to the Moroccan and Algerian governments for holding and supporting the political dialogue.

3. The Government of the Republic of Korea is concerned over the continued instability in Libya and expects that the situation in the country will stabilize as soon as possible through dialogue and other peaceful means.
