1. With regard to the series of terrorist acts committed in Kuwait, Tunisia, Somalia and France on June 26 that resulted in deaths of victims including numerous civilians, the Government of the Republic of Korea offers its deepest condolence and consolations to the peoples of those countries and the bereaved families of the victims.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea strongly condemns such terrorist acts and reiterates its firm position that terrorist acts cannot be justified under any circumstances.

3. Furthermore, the Government of the Republic of Korea will participate actively in efforts of the UN and the rest of the international community to eradicate terrorism.
