1. The fourth Republic of Korea-Algeria policy consultation will take place in Seoul on July 21, with Director-General for African and Middle Eastern Affairs Kwon Hee-seog of the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director-General for Asia Oceania Boumediene Guennad of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs leading their respective delegations.

2. In the forthcoming policy consultation, the two sides will discuss in depth bilateral issues in such sectors as political affairs and economy; ways to work together on the international stage; and the situations on the Korean Peninsula and in the Middle East.

3. The upcoming policy consultation is expected to serve as an opportunity for the two countries to review the progress and achievements in bilateral cooperation and seek ways to undertake substantive cooperation in the future.
